High voltage RTWN-type damping resistor

The high voltage RTWN-type damping resistor is used at both ends of a high-voltage cable feeding the electrofilter chamber. Its purpose is to protect the cable and the electrofilter supply unit against the effects of overvoltage which occurs during flashovers inside the electrofilter chamber.

Resistor power       400 W
Resistance              60, 100, 200, 390, 1000 Ω
Length                     330 mm
Diameter                 105 mm
Weight                     4.5 kg

The resistor is equipped with two disks preventing corona discharge at the ends, with M20 and M16 holes for installation.

Universal UPWN-type high voltage switch and  RN-UPWN manual drive

The universal UPWN-type high voltage switch and  RN-UPWN manual drive are devices used in the cable system powering the elecrofilter to obtain necessary connections between the electrofilter chamber and the power unit, the standby unit and the earth bar. The connections are obtained by manual adjustment of the moving contacts of the switch while the power is off. The moving contacts in the rotating insulators cooperate with the fixed contacts located in the fixed insulator and the ground contact. The drive is transmitted by a Gall chain transmission  connected with wires. The universal UPWN switch may be applied in the entire range of voltages produced by the power units manufactured by BELOS-PLP S.A.

High voltage earth connection and isolating switch

The earth connection and isolating switch is used in the high voltage power circuit of the electrofilter. It allows to connect a system of discharge electrodes to the power unit or the disconnection of the unit while providing ground connection of the electrodes at the same time. The device is equipped with microswitches and an interlock of extreme positions of the switching lever.

Supporting insulator

The supporting insulator is used for the distribution of high voltage in a switching station using busbars.

Auxiliary cabinets

These include cabinets made of plastic or metal, which include elements of signaling, protection and control systems and pneumatic elements (e.g. of the ash-removal system).

Blow heater

The blow heater is an element of hot-air blow-in system. It is equipped with a system of heaters ensuring the temperature increment by about 100 K, while keeping the assumed air efficiency.

Nominal powers:  4.5; 9; 13.5; 18; 22.5; 27 kW.
