Power supply units

Power supply units for Electrosatic Pecipitator consist of the rectifier unit  and control cabinet .

The devices are produced for output voltage range (no load peak value) from 80 kV to 134 kV and outpu current range (average value) from 100 mA to 2000 mA.

Acceptable variation of the power supply voltage

Range of allowable ambient temperatures:

       -   for control cabinet           273 - 313 K

       -   for rectifier unit                243 - 313 K

Upon a customer requirement, we can carry out power supply units for other supply voltages, untipical voltages and output currents, e.g. low power units for the local dedusting systems.
This devices can be adapted for operation in optional weather conditions

Rectifier unit

The rectifier unit constitutes a tank filled with a transformer oil. A transformer high voltage rectifier, a current limiting choke, achoke counteracting an overvoltage and a potential divider are mounted inside the tank.

The following devices are mounted in the connecting box:

  • low voltage bushings,
  • measuring resistors,
  • current and output voltage converter

The measuring converter provides the galvanic separation and standardizes the signals of the current and the voltage rectified., which are tranmitted to the control system. A high voltage bushing is fixed on the tank cover. The lateral lead of the output voltage is also possible. The rectifier units are adapted for the natural cooling.

The side walls, depending on the unit power, are made of the smooth or corrugated sheets. The oil tank is made as a hermetic one or with the air acces through an oil conservator and a dehumidifier.

It is possible to make the dislocation of wheels position by 90°. The degree of protection of the rectifier unit (without the connetcting box) is IP 54. It is possible, upon a costomer request, to seal the connecting box to reach the degree of protection as high as IP 54.

The rectifier units can be additionally equipped with an earthing isolator (it can consist of 2 sections for a high voltage upper lead).
