PREFORMED™ ARMOR GRIP® Suspension

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED^TM ARMOR-GRIP^® Suspension Assembly is a suspension system providing superior conductor protection. It is intended to be used on conductors and strands of pure aluminium, aluminium alloy, ACSR.

AGS is recommended:

• for both phase conductors and earth/ground wires.
• as being superior to Armour Rod/clamp combinations for protecting conductors from bending stress, compression stress and abrasion.

The maximum recommended line angle for a single support AGS is 30^°. For angles between30^°/60^° the AGS Double is recommended.

PREFORMED™ CUSHION-GRIP® Suspension

APPLICATION: Available for high temperature conductors, the standard CUSHION-GRIP^TM Suspension have a continuous thermal rating of 125°C (150°C two hours emergency). 
The CUSHION-GRIP^TM Suspension is also available in a HT version for continuous conductor operating temperatures up to 200°C (225°C two hours emergency).

PREFORMED™ THERMOLIGN® Dead - End

APPLICATION: the THERMOLIGN^® Dead - End is specifically designed for applications on ACSS/AW or ACCR (not intended for use on conductors with trapezoidal outer strands). The design allows for continuous conductor operating temperatures up to 250°C.

PREFORMED™ Armor Rods - Aluminium Alloy

APPLICATION:The PREFORMED^TM Armor Rods are intended to protect conductors/strands against bending,compression, abrasion and arcover damage and to provide restorative repair.
Armor Rods are recommended as minimum protection for : 

• clamp - type supports and suspensions. 
• for hand tied spans of  90m or more.

PREFORMED™ Splice Shunt

APPLICATION: designed to restore complete electrical conductivity and a portion of the mechanical strenhgt to compression splices that are found to be excessively hot during line inspections.  

PREFORMED™ Thimble clevis

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED™ Thimble Clevis is suitable for use in conjunction with Distribution Grip dead ends. 

PREFORMED™ Distribution Grip Dead End 

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED™ Distribution Grip Dead End  is recommended for the termination of bare and jacketed conductors used in distribution construction.

Distribution Grip Dead End  is suitable for use in conjunction with PREFORMED™ Thimble Clevis (TCL6570002)

PREFORMED™ Distribution Tie

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED™ Distribution Ties are intended to secure bare or jacketed distribution conductors in the side groove of vertically and horizontally mounted insulators.

PREFORMED™Groove Formed Side Tie

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED™ Groove Formed Side Ties are intended to secure bare or jacketed distribution conductors in the side groove of vertically and horizontally mounted insulators. 

PREFORMED™ Angle Tie

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED™ Angle Tie  is special purpose fitting designed to secure bare or jacketed distribution conductors in the side groove of single vertically mounted pin or line post insulators.

PREFORMED™ Cross - Over Tie

APPLICATION: The PREFORMED™ Ties for cross - over using a double insulator are designed to insure the electrical conductivity and mechanical continuity of the conductor through electrical discharge.

PREFORMED™ Spiral Vibration Damper

APPLICATION: Spiral vibration damper is used to reduce levels of aeolian vibrations. 

PREFORMED™Bird Flight Diverter

APPLICATION: Bird Flight Diverter  is designed to make overhead lines visible to birds and provides an economic means of reducing the hazard to both lines and birds.
